Considering all the items compositely, both Parochial School groups are shown to be far better in their religious practices, and at least superior in their reasons and ideals for such actions. The truth of the matter seems to be that the Public School children know their obligations and the benefits to be derived from such practices, but simply do not live up to their knowledge and beliefs in the matter. The causes of such laxity and the remedies for them is not the object of this thesis, but simply to point out the existence of such conditions. The evidence presented, while not universally conclusive, is at least strongly suggestive and indicative because of the standardization of all materials used
