Peran Pemerintah Desa Dalam Pengembangan Badan Usaha Milik Desa Pulau Komang Sentajo Kecamatan Sentajo Raya Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the village government in the development of village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) on Komang Sentajo Island. In running BUMDes, it aims to improve the welfare of the village community, therefore it must be carried out optimally and maximally so that the welfare of the community in the village can be created. This Komang Island BUMDes is currently in the development stage. This type of qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The key informants were the Village Head of Pulau Komang Sentajo, while the informants were the Village Secretary, BUMDes Treasurer and the community. The results of the study show that the role of the village government as a regulator is that the government has not been effective in making and determining policies in the formation of BUMDes on the island of Komang Sentajo. The role of the Village Government as a Dynamist is the minimal role of the government in mobilizing community participation to participate in the development of BUMDes. Providing special guidance to BUMDes administrators in order to improve the ability to manage BUMDes and or in managing BUMDes businesses, the village government brought in a mentor from PT. agrosid to guide the bumdesa administrators in managing the cultivation of shallots/chilli meeah. The role of the Village Government as a Facilitator is as a provider of business capital for BUMDes, facilitating education and/or training activities that are attended by BUMDes administrators or students and training
