Peranan Lembaga Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Dalam Pembangunan Di Kelurahan Perhentian Marpoyan Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru

The Village Community Empowerment Institution (LPMK) is a community institution that grows from the community and for the community which has the function of accommodating and channeling community aspirations, and increasing community participation in planning, implementing and controlling development. One of the sub-districts in Marpoyan Damai Sub-district, Perhentian Marpoyan Sub-district was expanded from Maharatu Village. From this, Perhentian Marpoyan LPMK is relatively new, so it is necessary to see how far the role of LPMK is in assisting the Lurah in development planning. The research that will be used is qualitative research with descriptive research type. Qualitative research aims to explore and build a preposition or explain the meaning behind reality. Active role is the role of a person who is always active in the actions of an organization. Regarding the passive role of LPM in accommodating and channeling the aspirations of the people in Perhentian Marpoyan Village. Participatory Role is a form of participation in activities in the form of planning and implementation to achieve community development goals. In this case, the task of LPM is to increase community participation in achieving community development goals in the Marpoyan Perhentian Village. From the results of the research that the author did regarding the Role of Community Empowerment Institutions in Development Planning, the authors can draw the following conclusions: It can be seen that the role of Community Empowerment Institutions in Development in Perhentian Marpoyan Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City Enough to play a role where community empowerment institutions have carried out their duties but not maximal. In accommodating and channeling community aspirations in Perhentian Marpoyan Village, LPM has not maximized community participation. Furthermore, it can also be seen the obstacles and obstacles in the field of knowledge of community empowerment institutions, the lack of a sense of embracing each other to build together between Kelurahan and LPM and jointly increase community participation
