Peranan Dinas Kesehatan Dalam Mengawasi Kualitas Depot Air Isi Ulang Di tinjau Dari Peraturan Daerah No. 5 Tahun 2005 Tentang Pengawasan Dan Retribusi Pemeriksaan Kualitas Air Di Kota Pekanbaru

ABSTRACT Refill drinking water is one of the solutions for the community in meeting the needs of ready-to-use drinking water, besides being practical, it is also easy to get it because currently in every community setting, refill drinking water filling services are available at a relatively cheap price, with a price of Rp. 3000,- people no longer need to cook well water to drink but the existence of drinking water depots certainly requires supervision from the Health Office to protect public health, the existence of drinking water depots without permits or those that do not meet health standards certainly needs to be dealt with firmly so that people can comfortably and safe in using the water refill service. The formulation of the problem in the study is the role of the Health Office in supervising the quality of refill drinking water depots in terms of Regional Regulation no. 5 of 2005 and the obstacles faced by the Health Office in monitoring the quality of refill drinking water depots in Pekanbaru City. This study uses observational research research methods by means of direct field surveys to obtain primary data that the authors can through interviews and questionnaires, judging from the nature of this research is descriptive. In this study, it was determined that the population and respondents were the Pekanbaru City Health Office as many as 1 person, as many as 20 people from refill drinking water depot business actors. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the role of the Health Office in supervising the quality of refill drinking water depots in terms of Regional Regulation no. 5 of 2005 in Pekanbaru City includes granting permits to refill drinking water depot businesses that have met the established water quality requirements, conducting tests on the quality of water used in running refill drinking water depot businesses, providing guidance to business actors who violate and take action against every violation committed by business actors in running the refill drinking water depot as a form of government supervision efforts in protecting the interests of the community or consumers as users of refill drinking water products. Constraints faced by the Health Office in supervising the quality of refill drinking water depots in Pekanbaru City are the lack of awareness of business actors to have business licenses, lack of human resources or human resources at the Pekanbaru City Health Office that can carry out monitoring functions optimally and the absence of community participation. in providing information on the existence of refilled drinking water depots that are not fit for consumptio
