Hubungan Antara Pola Asuh Otoriter Orangtua Dengan Perilaku Agresif Pada Remaja Di Kota Pekanbaru

A clearly visible phenomenon regarding aggressive behavior in teenagers today is the increasing number of news on social media that shows violent behavior committed by teenagers, such as brawls, persecution, torture, and even killing other people. The level of aggressiveness in adolescents lies mostly in the parenting pattern of their parents. This study aims to determine the relationship between parental authoritarian parenting with aggressive behavior in adolescents in the city of Pekanbaru, with a total sample of 110 people. The sampling method in this study used the incidental sampling method. The data collection technique used the authoritarian parenting scale with 26 items and the aggressive behavior scale with 30 items. The data analysis method uses Spearman's Rank Order analysis. The results of the statistical analysis test showed a correlation of 0.799 with the value of sig. 0.000 (p < 0.05). This shows that there is a significant positive relationship between authoritarian parenting and aggressive behavior in adolescents in the city of Pekanbaru. This means that the higher the authoritarian parenting pattern, the higher the aggressive behavior in adolescents in the city of Pekanbaru, and vice versa
