The present work aims to address some aspects and characteristics of quilombola communities, their origin, claims and social belonging. This work was based on a methodology of bibliographic research in articles found on the internet and based on discussions and classroom learning about the knowledge of education with forest peoples. During the development, it was discussed about the quilombolas of Vale do Guaporé, located in the territory of Rondônia and some general aspects of education for which they fight. The language used in this work was the simplest and clearest possible, making it possible for anyone to understand it, however layman they may be on the subject, since its main objective is to present these peoples to the common people...
