This paper analyzes the characteristics and the main news published in the “Teacher’s Newspaper”, focusing on the dissemination of the activities of The Primary Teacher Center of the state of Pernambuco, Brazil (CPPP) between 1955 and 1962. We analyzed all the 84 pages of the copies of the newspaper that are stored in the Pernambuco State Public Archive, which is in the state’s capital, Recife. The period ranges from the first year of circulation of the newspaper until the last one available in the Public Archive. We carried out a historical and documentary research that falls within the fields of Cultural History and Historiography and the History of Education.
