What does it take for Danish performing arts to find its way into the world?Early attempts to present Danish performing arts in an international context were often unsuccessful. Later strategic initiatives have been tried out within various parts of the performing arts. Especially theater for children has provided a favorable recipe for internationalization. Thus, ASSITEJ and the national Aprilfestival have created an exemplary platform for showcases to be imitated and further developed by adult theater as seen for example in the annually recurring CPH Stage. However, attending showcases around the world is still important
