Pendahuluan: Menurut data Riskesdas tahun 2018, prevalensi karies gigi di Indonesia sebesar 88,8% dengan prevalensi karies akar 56,6%. Prevalensi karies gigi tertinggi pada kelompok anak usia 5-9 tahun (92,6%), dan pada kelompok usia 3-4 tahun sebesar 81,1%. Mayoritas penduduk Indonesia (94,7%) sudah memiliki perilaku menyikat gigi yang baik. Namun dari persentase tersebut, hanya 2,8% yang menyikat gigi pada waktu yang tepat, yaitu minimal dua kali, setelah sarapan dan sebelum tidur. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan ibu tentang kesehatan gigi dan kebiasaan menggosok gigi terhadap kejadian karies gigi pada anak. Metode: Analitik menggunakan metode cross sectional.
