With the push for the inclusion of students with disabilities in the general education classroom, it is becoming increasingly important that effective instruction is being provided. The purpose of this review is to address the revisions that are necessary in current mathematics instruction, as well as the importance of instruction that meets the needs of all students. Strategies that will be helpful to students experiencing difficulties in math will also be discussed
