Combined funding supported this partnership between the University of Limpopo and Laurentian University in training exceptional graduate students. It has proven to be an excellent model for future training of cohorts from specific sectors. The report provides details of accomplishments of the PhD students’ and their programmes in Earth Sciences, including publications. The collaboration between Laurentian University (LU) and University of Limpopo (UL) allowed for access to world-class research facilities and training opportunities available at Laurentian University
