Women empowerment in livestock index (WELI) baseline report - Uganda : key findings

Results in Uganda in relation to indicators of ‘instrumental agency’ show that women achieve adequacy in more indicators compared to men. The research/ survey addresses whether Women Empowerment in Livestock Index (WELI) scores differ significantly from baseline to post intervention. WELI is a standardized survey tool to measure empowerment of women in the livestock sector at the level of the household and along the vaccination value chain (VVC).
