The modern educational services market has all the characteristics of a highly competitive industry. Universities fight very hard for the quantity and quality of the applicants. In this matter, this is important for an educational organization to have the ability to differentiate itself from competitors and create a unique and recognizable image. The internal audience is one of the elements of this image, their knowledge and understanding of the components of the brand image allow to draw conclusions about the quality of their representation and translation to the target audience. In view of this, the authors conducted a survey of students, teachers and staff of the RUDN University, as a result of which conclusions were drawn about the effectiveness of the university's communications with the audience.Современный рынок образовательных услуг обладает всеми характеристиками высоко конкурентной среды. ВУЗы ведут активную борьбу за количество и качество поступивших абитуриентов. В этом вопросе важно умение ВУЗов отстраиваться от конкурентов и создавать уникальный и узнаваемый образ. Внутренняя аудитория является одной из составляющих этого образа, знание и понимание ими составляющих имиджа бренда позволяет делать выводы о качестве их формулировки и донесении до целевой аудитории.
