This review is devoted to the actual problem of the modern obstetrics - perineal trauma in childbirth. Against the background of perinatal risk, the threat of obstetric injuries in a labor tract may seem insignificant. But it is perineal injuries that cause a wide range of diseases that occur in the future: from recurrent vaginal biocenosis disorders to urinary and anal incontinence, from sexual disorders to pelvic prolapse. Especially since the number of obstetric perineal injuries are high, but preventive measures are not obvious.
