The distinctive paper is devoted to theoretical foundation of localization of the solution of one-dimensional problem of the transverse bending of a Bernoulli beam based on B-splines and finite element method (FEM). The initial variational formulation of the problem is presented, finite element approximation using B-splines is described (B-splines are used, in particular, for approximation of beam deflection function), and a resultant variational formulation of the problem (oriented to the corresponding wavelet-based version of FEM) is obtained.В настоящей публикации рассматриваются теоретические основы локализации решения простейшей одномерной задачи о поперечном изгибе балки Бернулли на основе B-сплайнов в рамках метода конечных элементов...
