Add to ORKGThe article is devoted to the relations between Russia and Ukraine in 1991-2014 in the humane sphere. The analysis of such aspects as the status of the Russian language, Russian culture, education in Russian in Ukraine is carried out. The author shows that, on the one hand, these stories traditionally constituted a significant block of contradictions between the two countries and contributed to the deterioration of their relations. And on the other hand, they extremely rarely became the subject of discussion by representatives of the highest authorities of the two countries.
