This article discusses the causes and mechanisms of the occurrence of infertility in endometriosis within the framework of versions and contraversions. The magnitude of the described problem is noted not only from a medical, but also from a socio-economic perspective. Four main factors of endometriosis-associated infertility were identified: tubal-peritoneal, ovarian, embryonic and endometrial.
