Духовно-нравственные ценности Византийской империи в контексте истории Дома Романовых

The article notes that the historical image of the Byzantine Empire was one of the most important components of the archetypes of the genesis of social existence of the Russian statehood. The author believes that Western absolutism, born in the struggle against the Church, denies her any right to be the “conscience” of the state, squeezing it into the close framework of “serving spiritual needs,” and he himself defines these needs and principles of their service. The article emphasizes that the idea of the Byzantine succession formed the discursive basis for the formation of the Russian civilization.В статье отмечается, что исторический образ Византийской империи являлся одной из важнейших составляющих архетипов генезиса общественного бытия российской государственности. Автор считает, что западный абсолютизм, родившийся в борьбе против Церкви, отрицает за ней всякое право быть «совестью» государства, сжимает её в тесные рамки «обслуживания духовных нужд», причём сам определяет эти нужды и принципы их обслуживания. В статье подчеркивается, что идея византийского преемства составила дискурсивную основу становления российской цивилизации
