РОЛЬ РУССКОГО ЯЗЫКА В СИСТЕМЕ ПРЕПОДАВАНИЯ ИНОСТРАННЫХ ЯЗЫКОВ В АЛЖИРЕ

The article characterizes the place of the Russian language in the system of teaching foreign languages in Algeria. The data about learning Russian are presented, rise of interest in the Russian language and prospects for expanding its study in Algerian universities are shown. The purpose of the article is to show the development of the Russian language in Algerian universities in the Soviet and post-Soviet period. Research methods in this article are historical, research, comparative, descriptive. The paper presents statistical data on the number of students studying Russian in Algeria in the Soviet and post-Soviet period. The authors conclude that the interest in studying the Russian language is rising and there are prospects for its expanding.В статье говорится о месте русского языка в системе преподавания иностранных языков в Алжире. Приведены статистические данные о количестве лиц, изучающих русский язык, отражены тенденции развития интереса к русскому языку и перспективы расширения его изучения в университетах Алжира. Цель статьи - показать развитие русского языка в университетах Алжира в советский и постсоветский период. Методы исследования в данной статье являются исторический, научно-исследовательский, сравнительный, описательный. В заключении делается вывод о том, что интерес к изучению русского языка и перспективы его расширения приобретают новое измерение
