Japanese quail (Coturnix japonica) is a breed of agricultural birds. Quails have high egg productivity, which is very valuable for the food industry. For the year, the female can produce from 230 to 300 eggs. However, biological features have been studied fragmentarily, therefore, studies aimed at clarifying the morphological features of organ systems are of scientific and practical interest. In addition to the agricultural field, these birds, as well as chickens, are traditionally used as the main models of birds in biological research. This allows to gain experience in the topographic anatomy of birds and apply this knowledge when carrying out disease prevention at poultry farms and treating companion birds or exotic species. Thereby, thi...
