The article describes the exocrine pancreas biopsy`s method in a dog, as a result of which the morphological features of the pancreas of dogs are established. Studies have shown that inflammation of the pancreas usually occurs in specific areas within the gland, rather than diffuse. There is also a random distribution within the gland of inflammation. It is possible that a single biopsy or even multiple small biopsies cannot identify the presence of inflammation or necrosis in certainly diagnostic test, but their absence does not exclude the diagnosis.
