The article continues the discussion about the problems of syphilidology initiated by the publication of O.V. Dol, M.N. Markova «On some problems of practical syphilidology» in the Russian Journal of Clinical Dermatology and Venereology. The article states that in our opinion the treatment of patients with syphilis with Ceftriaxone is unreasonable and should be used only in the presence of intolerance to penicillin drugs. In addition, patients with asymptomatic neurosyphilis received intravenous Ceftriaxone, which we believe does not correspond to this form of syphilis.
