The main inorganic component of bone tissue is hydroxyapatite Ca10 (PO4) 6 (OH) 2. In modern medicine, biomaterials based on it are of great interest. They can be used as implants that carry physiological loads, cements in the plasticity of bone defects, as bioactive coatings and porous matrices for the reconstruction of bone tissues. We have studied and presented the crystal structure and various methods of synthesis of hydroxyapatite and materials based on it.
