The article describes the evolution of the phenomenon of social exclusion and methods of its investigation in laboratory conditions. To the best of our knowledge, the diagnostic of social exclusion has been primarily based on external factors till now. This article is devoted to the creation of questionnaire aimed to reveal the psychological experience of social exclusion in natural conditions. Such tool is necessary because it is insufficient to refer only to external conditions of personal exposure to the periphery of social system in order to estimate psychological exclusion, as physical and psychological exclusion do not always coincide.
