The author of the article reviews the main aspects of Immanuel Kant's philosophy of morality, education, and upbringing, which formed the European model of education in the 19th - 20th centuries. The paper traces Kant's path to the moral interpretation of the spirituality as a truly universal interpretation, as opposed to the formerly used spiritualist one. The author treats transcendental philosophy as a possible basis for the development of the future model of education, in which it aims to rise above the particularism of metaphysical systems and traditional worldviews.
