Aim: To study effects ofivabradin on clinicohemodynamic and prognostic parameters in patients after myocardial infarction (MI) with systolic chronic cardiac failure (SCCF). Material and methods. A population-based randomized prospective trial enrolled 49 patients (40 males - 81,6%, mean age 63,1 ± 8,1 years) with sinus rhythm and a longer than 3 month history of MI. The patients were randomized into 2 groups: 23 patients of group 1 received standard treatment plus ivabradin, 26 patients of group 2 received standard treatment alone. Follow-up was 36,1 ± 6,2 months.
