Pengaruh Penerapan Model Reciprocal Teaching Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Berdasarkan Self Confidence Siswa Madrasah Aliyah

Abstract: This research aimed at knowing the effect of implementing Reciprocal Teaching model toward students’ mathematic communication ability derived from their self-confidence at Islamic Senior High School. It was a Factorial Experimental research with Pre-test-Posttest Control Group design. All of the tenth-grade students at the second semester of Islamic Senior High School of Islamic Centre Al-Hidayah Boarding School Kampar in the Academic Year of 2018/2019 were the population of this research. Cluster Random Sampling technique was used in this research to select the samples that were the tenth-grade students of classes 1 and 2. The techniques of collecting the data were test, questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The technique of analyzing the data was two-way ANOVA. Based on the data analysis, it could be concluded that 1) there was a difference on mathematic communication ability between students taught by using Reciprocal Teaching learning model and those who were taught by using direct learning, 2) there was a difference on mathematic communication ability among students having high, medium, and low self-confidence, and 3) there was no interaction between the use of learning model and self-confidence toward student mathematic communication ability.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Reciprocal Teaching terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis berdasarkan Self-Confidence siswa Madrasah Aliyah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian faktorial eksperimen dengan desain the nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X semester genap MA PP. Islamic Centre Al-Hidayah Kampar tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel diambil secara cluster random sampling adalah kelas X.1 dan X.2. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan anova dua arah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran model Reciprocal Teaching dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran langsung; 2) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memiliki self-confidence tinggi, sedang dan rendah; 3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara penggunaan model pembelajaran dengan kepercayaan diri (self-confidence) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa
