The strengthening and repair of existing infrastructures, a large portion of which is comprised of steel structures, is essential for sustainable material use and energy resource management. Bonded strengthening using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers (CFRPs) offers great potential toward a sustainable infrastructure management.
