A change in the food system can slow down the climate change

It is about having sustainable consumption and production habits to stop the increasing growth of pollution in the world, which has negative effects on the environment and health. The actual food system is exceeding the use of natural resources and they are running out, so in the future it will be very difficult to feed the whole population, which is growing. Producers should analyze this and change the production process to a more ecological and circular one. Most of the consumers around the world act in an unsustainable way, even if they are aware of this problem, but it is very difficult for them to think in the long-term benefits and this makes them more unsustainable. There are differences in the sustainability of the developed and developing countries, because in low income countries the problem is more associated to the production process due to the bad storage and transport that they have, and in high income countries it is more associated to consumers.[spa] A lo largo de este trabajo, se analiza cómo podría cambiar el mundo con un sistema alimentario sostenible. Va sobre tener hábitos de consumo y producción sostenibles para parar el incremento de la contaminación en el mundo, el cual tiene efectos negativos en el medio ambiente y la salud. El sistema alimentario actual está excediendo el uso de los recursos naturales y se están acabando, por lo que en el futuro será muy difícil alimentar a la población, la cual está creciendo. Los productores deberían analizar esto y cambiar el proceso de producción a uno más ecológico y circular. La mayoría de los consumidores de todo el mundo actúan de forma insostenible, aunque estén concienciados por este problema, pero les resulta muy difícil pensar en los beneficios a largo plazo y esto los hace más insostenibles.
