Seasonal changes in the activity of lactate and succinic dehydrogenases in tissues of fishes with different ecological and phisiological peculiarities

Studies have been made on the activity of enzymes of anaerobic (LDH) and aerobic (SDH) metabolism in the liver, red and white muscles of fishes from the Black Sea within the whole annual cycle. It was shown that the level and ratio of these activities depend on the period of annual cycle. During especially intense life activity (pre-spawning and spawning periods), the increase in the activity of more effective energy system (Krebs cycle) takes place. The level of the activity of the enzymes investigated is different for the liver, red and white muscles.Определяли активность ферментов анаэробного (ЛДГ) и аэробного (СДГ) обмена в печени, красных и белых мышцах черноморских рыб в течение полного годового цикла. Установлено, что величина и соотношение активности ферментов энергетического обмена в тканях рыб изменяются в каждом из периодов годового цикла. Важной сезонной особенностью метаболизма исследованных видов рыб является активация более эффективной энергетической системы (цикла Кребса) в периоды повышенной жизнедеятельности (преднерестовый и нерестовый).
