Fauna of monogenea of the South-East Atlantic, its ecological and geographical analysis

With regard to the literature data fishes of the South-East Atlantic are known to have 52 species of monogenea from 17-families. The most numerous families are Microcotylidae (12 species), Diclidophoridae, Mazocraeidae and Diplectanidae (6 species in each of them). According to the taxonomy of the studied fishes 77,7% of the species belong to Oligonchoinea. Osteichthyes were noted to have 49 species of monogenea, Chondrichthyes — 5. Narrow host specificity was found in 65% of monogenea. Hosts’ relationships and, to a lesser degree, ecological features determine taxonomic composition of fish monogenea. Bottom-dwelling fish communities are found to have 70% of monogenea species. It has been demonstrated that specific features of monogenea fauna of the region result from ichthyofauna composition, fish distribution pattern and specific hydrological conditions.С учетом литературных данных у рыб Юго-Восточной Атлантики известно 52 вида моногеней из 17 семейств. Наиболее многочисленны Microcotylidae (12 видов), Diclidophoridae, Mazocraeidae и Diplectanidae (по 6 видов). 77,7% видов относятся к Oligonchoinea, что связано с таксономическим составом исследованных рыб. У костных рыб отмечено 49 видов моногеней, у хрящевых — 5. 65% моногеней проявляют узкую специфичность к хозяевам. Таксономический состав моногеней рыб определяется родственными отношениями хозяев и, в меньшей степени, их экологическими особенностями. У рыб донных и придонных сообществ найдено 70% видов. Показано, что особенности фауны моногеней района обусловлены как составом ихтиофауны и характером распределения рыб, так и спецификой гидрологических условий
