Evaluation and modeling of soil water infiltration are essential to all aspects of water resources management and the design of hydraulic structures. Nonetheless, research focused on experimental studies of infiltration rates in arid and semi-arid regions under unknown boundary conditions remains minimal. This paper investigates the characteristics of the spatial variability of infiltration over a semi-arid rural basin of Algeria.
