Utilização de business inteligence (BI) no apoio à tomada de decisão e estratégia das organizações de saúde

Estratégias utilizando as tecnologias da informação têm sido usadas para maximizar a agilidade na tomada de decisão e uma delas tem sido o emprego do Business Intelligence. Essa ferramenta tem se mostrado tão positiva que também tem sido aplicada em organizações de saúde, que são encaradas como de alta complexidade, devido ao volume grande de dados. Nesse sentido, objetiva-se com esse estudo abordar a utilização de Business Intelligence no apoio à tomada de decisão e estratégica das organizações de saúde. A pesquisa recorre a entrevistas semi-estruturadas a 5 gestores que utilizam BI nas organizações de saúde que trabalham e a aplicação de questionários a 38 gestores de saúde. Os resultados revelam que o BI propicia uma agilidade muito grande tanto nas empresas em geral e principalmente nas organizações de saúde, cujo montante de dados é muito grande e somente com o uso do BI é possível fazer análises em tempo real, agilizando assim a tomada de decisão por parte dos gestores. Os gestores entrevistados enfatizaram muito essa questão, mas salientando que para que isso seja possível é necessário parametrizar o BI de forma que ele forneça os dados necessários para a análise da organização.Strategies using information technology have been used to maximize agility in decision making and one of them has been the use of Business Intelligence. To this end, the work will include a bibliographic survey and, in addition, more data will be collected through in-depth interviews (individual) with 5 managers who use BI in the health organizations that work and the application of questionnaires with structured questions for 38. health managers. After the analysis in all collected sources it was possible to verify that BI provides a great agility both in companies in general and especially in health organizations, whose data is very large and only with the use of BI it is possible to do analysis in real time, thus speeding decision making by managers. The managers interviewed emphasized this issue a lot, but emphasizing that for this to be possible it is necessary to parameterize the BI so that it provides the necessary data for the analysis of the organization.
