The interest of laccase enzyme as a promising biocatalyst in various applications has been grow extensively throughout the years. Various fungi especially from phylum Basidiomycota and white-rot fungi has shown to produce laccase enzyme. Serial dilution was carried out to isolate laccase producing- fungi from leaf litter and undergoes screening for laccase oxidation by using guaiacol and 0.01% chloramphenicol. SSF method was carried out and from utilising leaf litter as substrate to provide more economical and environmentally-friendly.
