Abstract

The genus Archidendron is a large genus in Fabaceae family. However, this genus is still poorly studied and understood. In this study, the distribution in Southeast Asia (SEA) and the flowering-fruiting pattern of this genus based on digital specimens from Kew Herbarium (K) were determined. The distribution maps were generated using ArcView GIS 3.3 software based on the longitude and latitude coordinates stated on the specimen’s label. The flowering and fruiting pattern bar chart was produced using Excel Spreadsheet. From the 278 specimens documented, there are 32 Archidendron species recorded in SEA.
