Approach to fresh drinking water is a basic requirement for human being survival. Moreover 70% of the Earth's surface is covered by water, with 97.5% of it being saltwater and only 2.5% being fresh water. Freshwater consumption has grown dramatically in recent years as a result of population and economic growth. Surface water provides 98 percent of Malaysia's fresh water thus, an appropriate wastewater treatment is necessary to assure a constant supply of clean water.
