Analysis of Harmonics and their Effects in the Design of Electrical Installations of Final Use for Projects of Offices, Industrial, Commercial and Residential

La presencia de componentes armónicas y por consiguiente la distorsión que éstas generan sobre las señales de corriente y de tensión se ha convertido en un problema que cada vez cobra mayor importancia e implica mayor análisis y atención. La presencia de las cargas de tipo no lineal dentro de los sistemas eléctricos de distribución es la causa del incremento de distorsión armónica de tensión y de corriente. Este trabajo se encuentra enfocado en realizar un estudio comparativo a partir del análisis de armónicos de los diferentes sistemas de distribución eléctrica para proyectos de oficinas, de tipo comercial, industrial y residencial, y caracterizarlos de tal manera que nos permitan generar una referencia general en cuanto a los correctivos que se deban implementar dadas las condiciones particulares de los diferentes tipos de instalaciones eléctricas.The presence of harmonic components and consequently the distortion that they generate over current and voltage signals has become a problem that is becoming increasingly important and involves more analysis and attention. The presence of non-linear loads within the electric distribution systems is the cause of the increase in voltage and current harmonic distortion.
