Ancient game Wayuu Ainawa Shüka Yoshushula : an environment of learning about mathematical thinking invigorating own uses and customs of the etnicity

En el marco general que nos plantea la educación matemática y en los desafíos que implica la educación en los contextos étnicos, se ha determinado el objeto de estudio de la presente investigación, dentro de prácticas culturales de la etnia Wayuu. Con el propósito de descubrir conocimientos matemáticos propios inmersos en el juego ancestral lanzamiento de cardón. A su vez, se espera que los estudiantes pertenecientes a la etnia del grado 9° del Institución Educativa Indígena (IEI) N° 8 sede principal Riritana, vigoricen sus usos y costumbres dentro del marco socio cultural de la educación matemática. Los supuestos que configuran el marco teórico propuesto, dan cuenta de la relación que se puede establecer entre la matemática y la cultura. En ese sentido Bishop (1991, 1998) nos aportó las actividades universales que se convierten en los fundamentos matemáticos en las culturas, contar, localizar, medir, explicar y jugar. También este autor nos comparte la idea del potencial de los juegos en el aprendizaje de nociones matemáticas desde una mirada cultural Bishop, (1998). De otro lado, el enfoque sociocultural de la educación matemática, desde los aportes de Blanco (2011), concibe que en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje de las matemáticas no solo intervienen aspectos cognitivos o metodológicos sino aspectos culturales de los estudiantes. Este último talante en base a las políticas públicas nacionales establecidos en los lineamientos curriculares del MEN. Ahora bien, se tomó del Anaa Akua’ipa, proyecto Etnoeducativo de la nación Wayuu el cual es norma vigente para los estamentos educativos Guajiros rurales. El punto de referencia que propone este documento hace referencia a la transformación del quehacer educativo con la investigación teniendo en cuenta el pensar comunitario Wayuu propio, territorio, usos y costumbres, autonomía y tradiciones. Así mismo, los instrumentos usados para la recolección de datos bajo el enfoque cualitativo, centrados en asuntos etnográficos, fueron: entrevistas en audio y observación participativa en videos. Estos instrumentos dan cuenta de la respuesta a la pregunta planteada, mediante la aparición de la caracterización de los usos y costumbres del juego y sumado a ello la identificación de las ideas matemáticas inmersas con la descripción de la práctica del lanzamiento de Cardón una particular actividad que hace parte de las tradiciones del pueblo Wayuu en la vida cotidiana, mientras realizan labores como el pastoreo. Posteriormente, se pudo establecer a través del análisis la relación entre los usos y costumbres del juego y las ideas matemáticas que emergieron durante la observación asociadas a las actividades planteadas por Bishop (1991); contar, medir, localizar, diseñar y jugar. La correspondencia entre matemática y cultura, en este caso lanzamiento cardón y pensamiento matemático propio se instaura por la optimización del elemento principal el cardón aplicando las acciones de medición, conteo, localización, diseño durante las etapas de preparación y sesión de practicar el Ainawa Shüka Yoshushula.In the general framework posed by mathematics education and in the challenges that education implies in ethnic contexts, the object of study of this research has been determined, within the cultural practices of the Wayuu ethnic group. With the purpose of discovering own mathematical knowledge immersed in the ancestral game of cardón throwing. This author also shares the idea of the potential of games in learning mathematical notions from a cultural point of view Bishop, (1998). On the other hand, the sociocultural approach to mathematics education, from the contributions of Blanco (2011), conceives that not only cognitive or methodological aspects intervene in the teaching and learning processes of mathematics, but also cultural aspects of the students. This last attitude is based on the national public policies established in the curricular guidelines of the MEN. Now, it was taken from the Anaa Akua’ipa, an Ethno-educational project of the Wayuu nation, which is the current norm for rural Guajiro educational establishments. The point of reference that this document proposes refers to the transformation of the educational task with research, taking into account the Wayuu community thinking itself, territory, uses and customs, autonomy and traditions. Likewise, the instruments used for data collection under the qualitative approach, focused on ethnographic issues, were: audio interviews and participatory observation in videos. These instruments give an account of the answer to the question posed, through the appearance of the characterization of the uses and customs of the game and added to it the identification of the mathematical ideas immersed with the description of the practice of Cardón's throwing a particular activity that It is part of the traditions of the Wayuu people in daily life, while they perform tasks such as shepherding.
