Dynamics of change for the Nevado glacier El Cocuy in Colombia. methodological proposal that evaluates the behavior and evolution from remote sensing and modeling of climatological variables for the periods (1987 – 1997 – 2009 – 2015)

El presente documento identificó de manera técnica los cambios ocurridos en el glaciar nevado del Cocuy en Colombia, producto del retroceso glaciar que se presenta como consecuencia del fenómeno climático de Calentamiento Global, con la finalidad de observar cuál ha sido el cambio del glaciar en los últimos 40 años. A través de la recopilación de imágenes satelitales, su correspondiente procesamiento e interpretación y posterior tratamiento estadístico, en busca de un modelamiento que permite retratar las condiciones futuras del glaciar.This document technically identified the changes that occurred in the Cocuy snowy glacier in Colombia, product of the glacial retreat that occurs as a consequence of the Global Warming climate phenomenon in order to observe which has been the change of the glacier in the last 40 years. Through the collection of satellite images, its corresponding processing and interpretation and subsequent statistical treatment in search of a modeling that allows to portray the future conditions of the glacier
