Happiness. What do teachers think?

Considerando el papel trascendental de la educación, los continuos cambios de la sociedad y las permanentes reflexiones en torno a la calidad de la educación, la labor de los docentes se ha convertido en el centro de atención. Por ello, realizar estudios que se centren en el bienestar, la felicidad y la satisfacción de los docentes adquiere cada vez mayor relevancia, debido a su influencia en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Así, teniendo en cuenta el auge de la investigación psicológica de la felicidad en las últimas décadas y conscientes de que es un constructo complejo y son varias las dimensiones que contribuyen a lograrla, esta investigación identifica la relación que existe entre la felicidad percibida de los profesores en ejercicio, la satisfacción laboral y el compromiso organizacional que demuestran. A través de los instrumentos The Pemberton Happiness Index (PHI), la Escala de Satisfacción Laboral-Versión para Profesores (ESL-VP) y la Utretch Work Engagement Scale.Considering the transcendental role of education, the continuous changes in society and the permanent reflections on the quality of education, the work of teachers has become the focus of attention.
