Qualitative extraction and identification of the active principles of the barks of Mimosa Tenuiflora and Mimosa Púdica

El presente trabajo de investigación describe los resultados del estudio fitoquímico realizado a los Principios Activos de las cortezas de las especies vegetales Mimosa tenuiflora y Mimosa púdica (Fabaceae), para esto se obtuvieron los Principios Activos procedentes de las cortezas por la técnica de extracción sólido-líquido, usando un equipo de reflujo; para la caracterización química de los metabolitos secundarios presentes se realizó un Análisis Fitoquímico Preliminar (AFP) haciendo comparación de propiedades físicas y datos reportados en la literatura, en donde se pudo caracterizar la presencia inicial de metabolitos secundarios de tipo alcaloide y tanino en los Principios Activos de Mimosa tenuiflora y Mimosa púdica. Los Principios Activos obtenidos, fueron analizados mediante el uso de técnicas espectroscópicas como FTIR y termogravimétricas, con los cuales se logró caracterizar una vez más que los principios activos son conformados por metabolitos secundarios estructuralmente similares con presunción para el Principio Activo de Mimosa tenuiflora que se tratan de metabolitos secundarios de tipo alcaloide y tanino, con anillos tetra sustituidos en 1, 2, 3, 5 y fenólicos, además de la posible presencia de glucoproteínas y arabinogalactanos. En cuanto al Principio Activo de Mimosa púdica se presume la presencia de metabolitos secundarios de tipo alcaloide y tanino basado en flavonoide, con anillos tri sustituidos en 1, 2, 3 y la presencia de enlaces O-glucosídicos.The present research work describes the results of the phytochemical study carried out on the Active Principles of the barks of the plant species Mimosa tenuiflora and Mimosa pudica (Fabaceae), for this the Active Principles from the barks were obtained by the solid extraction technique- liquid, using reflux equipment; For the chemical characterization of the secondary metabolites present, a Preliminary Phytochemical Analysis (AFP) was carried out, comparing physical properties and data reported in the literature, where the initial presence of secondary alkaloid and tannin metabolites in the Active Principles could be characterized. of Mimosa tenuiflora and Mimosa pudica.
