El presente trabajo busca centrar su análisis más allá del ejercicio de una reseña histórica, y de la descripción superficial de la aparición de un conjunto de enunciados. Se trata de centrarse en la preocupación por entender cómo está constituido el maestro de fin de siglo; además, de tomar distancia de la realidad que nos es constitutiva, con el propósito de cuestionar los lineamientos que le dan sentido a nuestro presente.
