(Social Science)This research study aimed to primarily describe resilience enhancement in subjects subjected to the Full Circle Recovery Programme© (FCRP) of Wedge Gardens Treatment Centre, situated in Johannesburg, Gauteng, and secondarily to assess the contribution of the addiction treatment programme regarding the subjects’ perception of recovery. This research’s quasi-experimental design was a Pre-test Post-test control group design. This research design was unusual in that one group was an experimental group, which was exposed to the dependent variable X – in this case, the one-month addiction treatment programme.
