Analysis and evaluation of the presence of care in the official curriculum in compulsory secondary education. A look from women’s studies and culture of peace studies

[Abastract] The main aim of this research is to analyse and assess the presence of care in the official curriculum at Compulsory Secondary Education. Documentary analysis being the predominant technique of this study, the analysis has been made from an interdisciplinary perspective that encompasses a gender perspective and peace research, approaches that support the importance of the culture of care at school. This study shows that despite the essential role played by care and affection in interpersonal relationships, the treatment of care offered in the curriculum is scarce and not very profound, despite the value which gives figures of relevance in the educational field.[Resumen] Esta investigación tiene como objetivo fundamental analizar y valorar la presencia del cuidado en el currículo oficial de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, siendo el análisis documental la técnica predominante de este estudio, cuyo análisis se ha realizado desde una mirada interdisciplinar que engloba la perspectiva de género y de la investigación para la paz, aproximaciones que apoyan la importancia del cultivo del cuidado en la escuela. Este trabajo muestra que a pesar del imprescindible papel que juegan los cuidados y la afectividad en las relaciones interpersonales, el tratamiento del cuidado que se ofrece en el currículo, es escaso y poco profundo, a pesar del valor que le otorgan figuras de relevancia en el ámbito socioeducativo
