The aim of the paper is to deal with the Gini mean difference as a measure of the variability of some discrete distribution models: Bernoulli distribution, binomial distribution, Poisson distribution, negative binomial distribution, geometric distribution, hypergeometric distribution, logarithmic distribution, distribution of Zipf.
