International audienceFreedom of abortion emerged from second-wave feminist struggles in most Western countries. Is it really a given? Is it a fundamental right of women? The answer is far from clear at the beginning of the 21st century. The election of Donald Trump to the presidency of the United States and its consequences for reproductive justice, on the one hand, and the preparation of the referendum in which Ireland voted overwhelmingly in favour of legalising abortion, on the other, have sharpened the need to devote a study to this subject.The aim is to assess the obstacles that prevent women from freely disposing of their bodies, to understand their nature and to analyse their sociological and legal implications.The analyses gathered...
