This field report describes the use of literature by medical students in the course of their studies. While print media are still highly valued in the preclinical section, digital learning platforms are becoming increasingly important in the clinical section and in preparation for the written medical examinations. The supply of literature to students must be time-efficient, trustworthy, and have easy access.
