Les publications en langues étrangères et les traductions font partie des principaux indicateurs à interroger lorsqu’il s’agit d’étudier la mondialité d’une littérature nationale. Si divers critiques littéraires gabonais ont affirmé la vitalité qualitative et quantitative de la littérature de leur pays, les travaux critiques à propos de ces deux indicateurs sont inexistants. Notre article a pour objectif de combler ce vide en s’intéressant, du point de vue de la sociologie de la traduction, à l’importance relative des publications concernées, aux motivations des traducteurs et aux mécanismes de circulation internationale des oeuvres gabonaises.Publications in foreign languages and translations are some of the main indicators to look at when...
