The territory of the Phlegraean Fields is characterized by a high concentration of environmental, cultural, landscape, economic and social resources that make it exceptionally interesting and, simultaneously, a place of problematic governance of transformations, due to the evident conflict between aspirations and interests of economic drivers and protection of natural and cultural resources.
