PINEAPL (Parallel Industrial NumErical Applications and Portable Libraries) is an ESPRIT project, in the area of High Performance Computing and Networking, with partners from industral, academic and research organizations. The aim of the PINEAPL project is to produce a library of parallel numerical software that is relevant to a wide range of industrial applications. Therefore, the choice of the areas of numerical software is driven by the applications provided by the industrial partners.
